Antoine Borg

Antoine Borg is a soon-to-be graduating senior at Aragon High School. Her interest in writing ignited in freshmen year when she developed a concept for a story about teens with phenomenal abilities. Nerves

Like a police car

Nerves can protect you

But they can also imprison you

Organizing a party takes nerves

Especially one that's against your parents wishes

Planning, setting up, and hosting.

DJ’s are hard to get

And so is security

Imagine having it at a club, oh shoot

With hopes of a hundred

But expectations of eighty

I can only hope things go well

Object Study

With shards that match every color of the rainbow

And shimmering sparkles that glisten in the sun

The gemstones lit up as if they themselves had a past life

As if once belonging to royalty

It is almost as if the water wanted me to have the stones

for they simply floated towards me

The gems were deep with lapis and emeralds

Yet shallow with rubies and sapphires

They twinkled as if calling for me
