Aragon's Creative Writing class started last year as an English elective. It is the first, and only, creative writing course in the San Mateo Union High School District. The class gives students the space, time, and feedback needed to craft powerful, compelling stories in many forms, and to develop a writing life they can sustain beyond high school.
